We are seeking an organized and dependable Transportation Service Coordinator to manage transportation arrangements, coordinate service schedules, and support efficient daily transport operations. The ideal candidate will have strong planning and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate drivers, vehicles, customers, and service providers to ensure reliable and timely transportation services.
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules, service requests, and vehicle assignments.
- Arrange transportation services according to customer requirements and operational priorities.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatch teams, customers, and external service providers.
- Monitor vehicle schedules and transportation activities to ensure timely service delivery.
- Respond to transportation inquiries, delays, cancellations, and scheduling changes.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, routes, vehicle assignments, and service completion.
- Assist with route planning and identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate routine servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare transportation reports and track service performance indicators.
- Ensure transportation activities follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
- Support the resolution of customer concerns and transportation-related operational issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in transportation coordination, logistics, dispatch, or customer service is an advantage.
- Strong scheduling, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of transportation operations and route coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple service requests and changing schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, customers, and service providers.
