The Pharmacy Technician Senior Representative role is an important part of the Express Scripts Specialty Distribution Services (ESSDS) team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and a working knowledge of medical terminology. This role is not work-site dependent which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location.
Work Schedule will be 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Mandatory overtime may sometimes be necessary to meet business needs.
Complete data entry of prescriptions after reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
Work with pharmacists per work instructions, policy and procedures, management direction or any national or state regulations.
Complete training on Risk Evaluation and Mitigations Strategies (REMS) program requirements
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and assist with questions/issues for team members in coordination with supervisor.
May assist with training of newly hired pharmacy technicians.
High School diploma or GED required.
Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing required.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, experience in a specialty pharmacy setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
Flexible and adaptable.
