An established insurance carrier is expanding its Middle Market team and is seeking an experienced Senior Property Underwriter in Houston. This position offers the opportunity to apply technical underwriting expertise, evaluate commercial property risks and build productive relationships with retail brokers.
Key
Underwrite and manage Middle Market commercial property accounts.
Evaluate risk quality, exposure, pricing and coverage terms.
Build and maintain strong retail broker relationships to develop new business.
Negotiate terms and conditions while ensuring sound underwriting decisions.
Requirements
Knowledge of Middle Market property risks and underwriting principles.
Experience managing broker relationships and negotiating placements.
