Associate Advisor

Stordahl Capital Management is seeking an entry-level Associate Advisor to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to immediately become an integral part of our client-focused advisory group. As an Associate Advisor, you’ll work directly with Lead and Senior Advisors, contributing to all aspects of client service and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Advisor, you will:
Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetings.
Support Lead and Senior Advisors in creating and assembling client-facing materials.
Attend and participate in client meetings.
Assist in implementing client recommendations.
Conduct financial analyses across investment, tax, estate, and planning topics.
Research investment strategies, tax planning, estate planning, employee benefits, and financial markets.
Manage workflow, prioritize projects, and ensure timely deliverables.
This is not a sales role.
You will gain hands-on experience in:
Investment strategies
Financial modeling and asset allocation
Tax and retirement planning
Insurance and estate planning
Charitable giving
Financial and portfolio reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a university with a Financial Planning program (strongly preferred), or a degree in business, economics, or a related field with a strong academic record.
Interest in beginning the CFP® certification process.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Caring and client-centered mindset, with integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
