About the Role

We are looking for an energetic andconfident Business Development Trainee to join our Skills & TrainingBusiness Unit. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting businessgrowth by identifying opportunities, engaging with potential customers,converting marketing generated leads, and helping expand the trainingportfolio’s reach in the market.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoysinteracting with people, building relationships, conducting meetings, andcontributing directly to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Reach out to prospective customers through calls, emails,LinkedIn, and in-person meetings
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns,events, webinars, and referrals
Identify customer training needs and position relevant trainingsolutions accordingly
Schedule, coordinate, and conduct meetings with clients andprospects
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and businesspitches
Maintain and update lead and opportunity pipelines in CRM ortracking systems
Support the creation and execution of sales plays and outreachstrategies for the BU
Build relationships with corporate clients, universities, andindustry stakeholders
Coordinate internally with marketing and technical teams tosupport business opportunities
Attend events, seminars, and networking sessions to generatenew business opportunities
Contribute towards achieving business development and revenuetargets for the BU

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident personality with good interpersonal skills
Comfortable conducting meetings and interacting with customersprofessionally
Strong presentation and persuasion abilities
Self-motivated and target driven mindset
Ability to build relationships and maintain client engagement
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and businessactivities
Basic understanding of sales, business development, or customerengagement concepts is a plus
