Senior Structural Engineer (PE Required)
A growing engineering consulting organization is seeking a
Senior Structural Engineer
to lead complex projects supporting industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, laboratory, and critical facility environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on technical work with project leadership, client interaction, and mentorship of engineering teams.
Key
Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction support.
Perform structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems.
Conduct structural assessments, inspections, investigations, and condition evaluations of existing facilities.
Develop repair recommendations and structural improvement plans.
Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, architects, and clients.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to engineers and designers.
Support facility expansions, renovations, retrofits, and modernization initiatives.
Participate in site visits, client meetings, and construction-phase support activities.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Extensive experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry design.
Strong background in structural assessments, facility evaluations, and engineering documentation.
Proven success leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
Structural Engineer (SE) license.
Industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, laboratory, utility, or mission-critical facility projects.
Facility renovations, retrofits, expansions, and capital improvement initiatives.
RISA 3D or similar structural analysis software.
Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.
