Job Title: AWS DevOps Automation Engineer

Position Summary
NC FAST is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to lead infrastructure provisioning, application build, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS infrastructure, Ansible automation, Linux administration, and CI/CD processes.
The role focuses on developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, troubleshooting automation issues, ensuring reliable deployments across environments, and improving software engineering and release management practices.
Key
Lead automation activities for infrastructure provisioning, application builds, and deployments.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks.
Utilize Ansible Tower/AWX to manage automation workflows.
Support AWS infrastructure and Linux-based environments.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment processes.
Collaborate with architects, developers, deployment teams, and Database Administrators.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and validate system configurations.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation best practices.
Improve continuous integration, continuous deployment, and software release processes.
Ensure consistent, reliable, and repeatable deployments across environments.
