Overview
Our client, a
fitness related business , is seeking a
hands-on Temporary Staff Accountant
to provide immediate coverage and support during a leave of absence. This person will jump in quickly, operate with minimal ramp time, and help keep day-to-day accounting operations and close activities moving smoothly.
Sage Intacct experience is required and a must-have.
And you must be able to start immediately.
Type: Contract, hybrid in Carlsbad
Schedule: Regular day hours
Duration: 1 month to start, could extend as needed
Support
day-to-day accounting operations
including general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and transaction review.
prepare and post recurring and ad hoc entries
reconcile balance sheet accounts
support tie-outs and variance explanations
Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and ensure timely processing.
Provide support for
audit-ready documentation
and requests as needed.
Maintain and reinforce
strong internal control practices
and accurate documentation.
Demonstrated
Staff Accountant / GL accounting
experience (full-cycle exposure strongly preferred).
Sage Intacct : hands-on proficiency (navigation, entries, reporting, reconciliations).
Strong working knowledge of core accounting principles and best practices.
Proven ability to work fast, accurately, and independently in a high-accountability environment.
Clear communicator—comfortable working with non-accounting partners.
Avaiilable to start immediately.
