The Opportunity

A leading global private investment firm is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its management company finance team in Chicago.

What You’ll Do

Support month-end and quarter-end close processes

Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids and intercompany activity

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting

Assist with management reporting, variance analysis and financial statements

Support accounting across multiple domestic and international entities

Help maintain internal controls, accounting policies and procedures

Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders on reporting and special projects

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

CPA or progress toward the CPA is a plus

Strong academic background

Asset management or private equity exposure is helpful, but not required
