Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Community hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Return staff/travelers: no separation time required; former manager(s) name must be included on the application.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Med-surg ICU patient population includes GI bleed, DKA, status post cardiac PCI, COPD/CHF exacerbation, acute respiratory failure including COVID, RSV, and influenza, sepsis, acute withdrawal, CVA status post TNK, abdominal surgeries, pancreatitis, and oncology.
The unit utilizes CRRT, IABP, and Impella, but travelers are not expected to take assignments with those devices.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Nursys verification must be dated within 14 days of the submission date, showing a valid CA RN license.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
