Financial Systems Manager
StevenDouglas is engaged with a LifeScience company to find their next Financial Systems Manager to the team. This is a great opportunity to join an established company and make an impact from a process improvement, system intergration to continue growth.
Own and execute the ERP implementation: requirements, design, configuration, data testing.
Partner with finance, operations and manufacturing
Support the upcoming CRM implementation, working with the sales team on requirements, integration with the ERP and adoption.
Lead SOC 1 report reviews for key third-party systems, including complementary user entity controls.
Perform periodic user access reviews and maintain segregation of duties across finance systems.
Act as the IT general controls point of contact for external auditors and SOX testing.
Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
7+ years of experience in financial systems or accounting with a strong systems focus.
Hands-on experience owning or leading at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
Experience working directly with external auditors, ideally in a public company or SOX environment.
A working knowledge of accounting; a background in IT audit, or accounting/audit followed by a move into systems, is ideal.
