Job Title Job Description Help Performs studies pertaining to the District's coastal and navigation mission. Performs hydraulic designs and analyses that require the use of unsteady flow and multi-dimensional numerical models for hydraulic and sediment analyses. Studies the hydraulic characteristics of estuaries and harbor areas to determine the effects of navigation projects including harbor deepening and dredge material disposal. Determines optimum means for shoreline protection and/or mitigation of potential damaging effects and designs these measures. Reviews directives, budget data, and project criteria and decides on appropriate course of action for accomplishing the work. Maintains adherence to project schedules and works with other concerned individuals in the resolution of schedule problems.
