CLO Modeler / Structured Finance Analytics Associate

Hybrid, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston or Boston

We are seeking a CLO Modeler to join a structured finance analytics team supporting new issuances, transaction maintenance, reporting, and cash flow analysis. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience modeling CLO transactions within Solvas, CDO Suite, or similar industry platforms.

Responsibilities

Interpret trust indentures, offering memoranda, and governing transaction documents.

Build, maintain, and update CLO transaction models within Solvas and/or CDO Suite.

Translate deal documents into waterfall logic, payment priorities, and transaction rules.

Configure and test coverage tests, collateral quality tests, triggers, and covenant calculations.

Validate model outputs against trustee and investor reports.

Support new issuance onboarding, model conversions, and transaction amendments.

Generate and analyze cash flow projections, compliance results, and reporting outputs.

Perform scenario analysis and stress testing, including default, prepayment, and spread sensitivity analysis.

Partner with portfolio managers, operations teams, trustees, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate transaction modeling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

Experience working with CLOs, structured finance transactions, or securitizations.

Hands-on experience with Solvas, CDO Suite, or similar CLO modeling platforms.

Strong understanding of CLO deal mechanics, waterfalls, and structured finance concepts.

Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience preferred.

Ability to interpret legal transaction documents and implement deal structures within modeling platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

CLO analytics or modeling experience.

Trustee, asset manager, rating agency, or structured finance consulting background.

Experience supporting new issuances, refinancings, resets, or deal conversions.

Knowledge of syndicated loans, fixed income products, and securitized transactions.
