Our client is seeking a

Cost Accountant

to support product costing, inventory analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to provide accurate cost data and support key business decisions.

Responsibilities

Analyze product costs and maintain costing data

Support inventory reconciliations and cycle counts

Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close

Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor routings

Conduct variance analysis and cost-saving evaluations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives

Provide ad hoc reporting and business analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-3 years of accounting or finance experience

Manufacturing experience preferred

Strong Excel skills required

ERP system experience preferred

SQL and reporting tool experience a plus

Strong analytical and communication skills
