FP&A Manager
Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, and to give senior leadership the analysis it needs to make decisions on growth, cost and capital. They are in the office 3 days per week.
Manage the annual budget and periodic forecasts, working with business line leaders and finance partners
Build and maintain financial models that track revenue, expenses, profitability and key performance indicators
Analyze monthly results against budget and prior periods, and explain the drivers behind variances
Prepare management reporting and presentations for senior leadership, the executive committee and the board
Track expense trends, identify cost drivers and recommend efficiency opportunities
Support strategic initiatives, new business evaluation and ad hoc analysis for senior management
Improve planning and reporting processes through automation, better data quality and system enhancements
Supervise, train and develop junior analysts
8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or management reporting, ideally in banking, asset management, insurance or another financial services setting
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; CPA, CFA or MBA a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, plus polished PowerPoint presentation skills
Experience with planning or reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI or Tableau) is a plus
Clear written and verbal communicator who can present to senior leaders
Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
