What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications using Cypress
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Perform security testing and identify common web vulnerabilities using OWASP Top 10, OWASP ZAP, and vulnerability scanning
- Test cloud-based applications and learn core concepts of cloud, virtualization, networking, and containers
- Explore AI/LLMs in testing, including test generation, test-case analysis, and defect identification
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues
- Improve QA processes and automation coverage, and share test reports with the team
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of STLC and SDLC
- Basic knowledge of manual and automated testing, Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL, and Git/GitLab
- Basic understanding of web application security, OWASP Top 10, and cloud computing concepts
- Awareness of AI, Generative AI, and LLMs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies
Good to Have
- Hands-on Cypress test cases from academic, personal, or internship projects
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Exposure to OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or other security testing tools
- Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenStack
- Experience using AI tools for development or testing
- Understanding of Python, Java, or another programming language
- Familiarity with performance or load testing concepts
