About the Opportunity

Zing Recruiting is partnered with a global manufacturing organization in search of a Customer Service Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

The Customer Service Rep. will serve as a primary point of contact for customers while supporting order processing, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination across sales, logistics, purchasing, and product teams.

This is a hybrid position, typically requiring 1-2 days per week in the office, with flexibility to provide onsite backup coverage for one-week periods throughout the year following cross-training.

Key

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.

Process sales orders and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

Coordinate shipments and maintain all related order documentation.

Monitor open orders, customer agreements, and technical requests to ensure timely follow-up.

Maintain accurate customer records and account information.

Investigate and resolve customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary.

Collaborate with internal departments to provide administrative support, forecasts, and customer feedback.

Support purchasing and logistics functions as a cross-trained backup resource.

Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Qualifications

3-5 years of customer service, customer support, or account coordination experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience managing customer accounts and processing orders.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working within ERP systems; Oracle experience strongly preferred.

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
