About Prowire USA

Prowire USA is an ecommerce distributor of wire, connectors, and interconnect products for motorsport, aerospace, and industrial customers. Most of our revenue comes from businesses buying for a commercial purpose. We are lean, entrepreneurial, and focused on customer experience in a technical niche.

The Opportunity

We have no sales team. Customers find us online and buy, so our website and the marketing behind it are our commercial engine. This is our first dedicated commercial hire, and you will own that engine and be accountable for its growth.

We recently launched a new ecommerce platform, and decades of technical cross-reference data give us a real advantage in search and product discovery. You will decide how to turn that into growth. This is a player-coach role: you set the strategy, do much of the work yourself, and decide where agencies add value. You develop and run the commercial roadmap independently, and the CEO approves major strategic and budget decisions. We expect to add a team member under you within 12 to 15 months.

What You Will Own

Growth results:

Profitable growth in new customer acquisition, repeat purchasing, and share of wallet, weighted toward new customers, with KPIs and a growth target you own
Analytics and testing:

Analyze the conversion funnel, find opportunities in the data, and run experiments
Search:

Technical and on-page SEO, including optimization for AI-driven search, and technical content that turns our product knowledge into traffic
Email and lifecycle:

Campaigns, automation, segmentation, and abandoned cart journeys
Merchandising and site

experience

How customers find and interact with products, and the workflow for new product launches. You ship changes in partnership with our web developer, who owns the back end.

Channels and budget:

What to outsource (starting with paid search), agency selection and management, and a marketing budget held accountable to ROI
Brand and pricing input:

You own brand, subject to CEO approval, and recommend on pricing and promotions. The CEO makes the final call.
Building the function:

Reporting, playbooks, and the definition of your first team member

How We Will Measure Success

At 12 months: measurable growth in new customers, conversion rate, repeat purchase rate, and gross profit.

What We Offer
