Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by utilizing your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise in a school-based setting near Chattanooga, TN. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, with working hours typically between 7:15 AM and 4:15 PM, and the possibility for a flexible schedule. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of 10-12 students, implementing evidence-based strategies and positive behavioral interventions across diverse classroom environments. You'll provide supervision and support to 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring the highest standards of behavioral support are met throughout the school year. The district will sponsor your attendance at a required four-day Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) training session to bolster your skill set. Key Qualifications:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Prior school-based experience or a strong interest in working within academic settings Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing intervention plans Skilled in data collection, analysis, and progress reporting Comfortable supervising and providing feedback to RBTs or related professionals Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Responsibilities: Complete behavioral assessments and create tailored behavior intervention plans Train and oversee 1-2 RBTs, providing ongoing mentorship and support Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Track, document, and review intervention outcomes, making adjustments as needed Participate in required TCIS training (cost covered by the district)
