Job Purpose:
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for overseeing supply chain sourcing activities, contract execution, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and ensuring internal cross-functional alignment. They will also maintain supplier engagement, ensure contractual requirements are met, lead negotiations, execute contracts; manage terms, conditions, and pricing.
Key Accountabilities:
Own strategic suppliers and complex commodities
Develop sourcing strategies
Lead high-value contract negotiations
Manage supplier cost, schedule, technical, and compliance performance
Conduct supplier risk assessments
Lead supplier recovery plans
Mentor Level 1-2 Buyers
Serve as procurement SME for programs
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Supply Chain and/or Technical Field
7-10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, or aerospace experience.
Demonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
Experience managing complex supplier relationships and commercial agreements.
Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, defense, or similarly regulated industries.
