FP&A – Real Estate Investment Firm (NYC)
About Our Client
Our client, a NYC-based real estate investment firm focused on residential communities, is seeking an FP&A professional to join their team in the NYC office.
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the CFO, giving you real visibility and a genuine opportunity to shape and build out the FP&A function as the firm continues to scale. The role follows a hybrid schedule and is a great next step in your career.
Position highlights
Hybrid schedule, four days in the office and one remote
Build monthly, annual and multi-year budgets and forecasts for the consolidated business and individual locations
Compare actual results to plan across income statements, balance sheets and cash flows
Analyze financial trends and recommend ways to support growth and reduce costs
Perform monthly variance analysis on the financial statements
Drive improvements to reporting processes and efficiency
Prepare lender materials and compliance certificates
Serve as a finance and planning systems resource with an interest in the technology side of finance
Act as a data link between Finance, Asset Management and Property Operations
Check that expense allocations and related rebilling are accurate
Track and report on risk items, including loan guarantees
Partner with business owners and management, applying solid accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and strong financial modeling skills
Comfortable collaborating with operators and senior stakeholders; open to candidates from any industry, with real estate preferred
