Officer Maintenance (Manufacturing / Production Segment)

SUMMARY: To support maintenance of electrical and automation production machinery to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maintain production efficiency through timely preventive and corrective maintenance. The role involves assisting in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems, VFDs, control panels, motors, and industrial sensors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of automation panels, motors, sensors, and control systems.
Support troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC-controlled machines Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
Perform routine inspections of VFDs, relays, contactors, controllers, and other field devices to ensure proper functionality.
Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC I/O layouts.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.
Replace faulty electrical components including wiring, limit switches, proximity sensors, and related devices.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
Follow all HSE and safety procedures during maintenance work.
Assist vendors and technicians during specialized repair work when required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Education: BE / BTech / DAE (Electrical, Electronics, or relevant technical field)

Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing/industrial automation environment

PERSONAL SKILLS:

Basic knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, HMIs and sensors
Electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
Understanding of industrial safety practices
Team player with willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
