Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries
Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient status
Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope of practice
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and communicate findings effectively
Prepare patients for operative deliveries as needed
Promote safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care for mothers and newborns
