Job Description

Our client, a well-known asset management company, is looking for a Tax Accounting and Compliance professional to join their team! Responsibilities of this position include preparing workpapers for tax submission, preparing and reviewing K-1s, performing fund allocations, calculating taxable income, and reviewing trial balances. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in public/private tax for an asset management firm, a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, and the ability to work independently both on a remote and in-office basis.

Responsibilities

Include

Review and coordination of partnership tax allocations

Coordinating, preparing, and reviewing corporate tax provisions

Preparing and submitting K-1s

Analyzing tax compliance process for tax reporting purposes

Requirements

At least four years of experience in partnership tax reporting

Public/private tax background including work in the hedge fund and asset management space

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
