Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract
Position Details
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Fairfax, Missouri Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Care Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Shift: Day shift Schedule: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week New Graduates: Welcome
Patient Population and Caseload
Primarily inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. May include home health and pediatric patients, depending on the therapist's experience in these areas.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled rehabilitation services to improve mobility, strength, functional independence, and overall patient outcomes. Deliver inpatient and outpatient therapy services. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families. Follow applicable professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in Missouri or a participating compact state. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Strong clinical assessment, treatment, and documentation skills. New graduates are welcome to apply.
