Position Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join a dynamic finance team in Lawrenceville, NJ. This individual will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close process, financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational analysis. The position offers significant interaction with manufacturing, operations, and executive leadership, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business.
Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Post journal entries, accruals, and general ledger adjustments
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, production variances, and overhead spending
Partner with operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support audits, special projects, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the financial close process
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
