Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Credentials

Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80%, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam (Pharmacology 1 or 2) required during onboarding and prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years.
Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding and prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years.

Special Requests

Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details

The assignment is on a post-surgical unit.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

Driver's license required for submission
