H2 Builders is seeking a Designer / Selections Coordinator to guide our clients through every step of the interior and exterior selection process.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between our clients, vendors, and project managers—helping clients transform their design vision into concrete, budget-conscious choices while keeping project timelines on track.
Key
Lead initial design consultations to understand client goals, aesthetic preferences, and project scope.
Guide clients through selections for styles, colors, finishes, materials, and fixtures across all phases of home construction.
Educate clients on selection timelines, priority order, and due dates to ensure seamless project flow.
Schedule vendor appointments for clients and attend key vendor meetings to provide design input and maintain budget alignment.
Manage selection details in BuilderTrend, reviewing quotes and choices for accuracy before client finalization.
Correspond directly with vendors to resolve quote discrepancies, finish details, or product lead times.
Gather worksheets, architectural plans, samples, and inspiration boards ahead of client and team build meetings.
Conduct weekly selection review meetings with Project Managers to ensure clear alignment across field teams and clients.
Provide transparent schedule updates and instruction when handling revisions or client inquiries.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and selection/construction management tools.
2+ years of experience in interior design, home building selections, or vendor management preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, detail-oriented project tracking, and strong interpersonal skills.
