Master Planner Salary: $95,000–$125,000/year

We are partnering with a successful aerospace company in Milford, CT to find a Master Planner to lead production planning, master scheduling, and production control in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the Planning and Production Control team, optimizes capacity and inventory, and ensures production schedules meet customer demand and delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, capacity, inventory, and material availability.

Lead and develop Production Planners and Production Control personnel.

Manage production schedules, work order priorities, and schedule adherence.

Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, and production delays; implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Optimize inventory, production lead times, throughput, and resource utilization.

Monitor KPIs, including on-time delivery, schedule attainment, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.

Improve planning processes and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing experience in production planning, master scheduling, or production control.

Experience leading or supervising planning or production control teams.

Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP/ERP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
