Job Description

Accountants One is assisting our client in finding a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, account reconciliations, and audits. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with public-company or multinational experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key

Responsibilities

Assisting with month-end closing duties, including preparing and posting general ledger journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and performing various tasks for accurate financial statements and senior management reports.

Coordinating with various third parties on international subsidiary monthly close procedures and preparing journal entries.

Performing reconciliation of domestic and international activities such as cash reconciliation and inventory balance reconciliation

Assist in gathering and analyzing information as requested by the internal/external auditors, including statutory audits.

Assist management in SOX compliance and SEC reporting.

Other ad hoc activities and projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting / Finance required

Minimum 2 years of accounting or related experience required

Strong Excel and MS Office skills

ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills

CPA license or studying to complete a CPA is a plus
