LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced

Accounts Payable Clerk

for a temporary opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with strong AP experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment and handling high-volume invoice processing.

Responsibilities

Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation

Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues

Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and other vendor payments

Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records

Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment questions

Assist with month-end close and AP reconciliations as needed

Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting documentation

Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications

Previous Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required

Experience with high-volume invoice processing preferred

Understanding of invoice coding, purchase orders, and three-way matching

Strong Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills

Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to research discrepancies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
