THE ROLE
This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY, with three days per week in office. The Associate, Web Development will support the design, build, and ongoing optimization of client and internal websites, with a focus on quality execution. Manhattan Strategies develops primarily on Webflow, and familiarity with the platform is required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Website Development (65%):
Build and optimize websites, primarily in Webflow, or desktop, mobile, and tablet using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS.
Website Maintenance & Troubleshooting (25%):
Maintain and update existing codebases to established standards; conduct testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security; create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and technical implementations.
UX Collaboration (10%):
Partner with designers and content creators to implement and improve web solutions; optimize site structure for SEO; and contribute to improvements in usability and accessibility.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Strong command of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript; jQuery/React experience a plus
Solid understanding of technical SEO/AEO best practices and site speed optimization
Experience with web analytics tools including Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing Webmaster, and Hotjar
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly across teams
Use of, without overreliance on, chatbots (Claude, chatGPT, etc.) for research, debugging, and work efficiency/documentation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience through a bootcamp or self-directed learning

Total Compensation: $77,225 per year
