A growing REIT is seeking a Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and team management within a dynamic commercial real estate lending platform. This is a highly visible role partnering directly with senior leadership and investment professionals while overseeing loan, debt, and joint venture accounting.
Compensation: Up to 350k Total compensation

Key
Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and other external partners
Support technical accounting matters, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives
Monitor internal controls and improve accounting processes and procedures
Partner with business stakeholders on financial analysis, reporting, and operational initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Assist with cash management, treasury activities, and liquidity reporting
Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to scale
CPA required
10+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
