Job Description

Our client is seeking a

Budgeting and Reporting Manager

to join its growing finance and accounting team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting or industry accounting who is looking to make a meaningful impact through financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making

Perform variance analysis and explain significant fluctuations in financial results

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Maintain and enhance complex Excel-based financial models and reporting files

Oversee month-end close processes

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls

Mentor, train, and develop staff while helping drive team performance

Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred

Approximately 5+ years of experience

Prior supervisory experience preferred, including managing, mentoring, training, or developing staff

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
