Supporting Student Growth Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the growth and development of a high school student with Down syndrome on a one-to-one basis. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), your expertise and compassion will be essential in helping this student achieve their personal, social, and academic goals in a school environment near Haverhill, MA. Key Qualifications
Active RBT certification required Experience working within a school setting or with school-aged youth, preferred Demonstrated understanding of ABA principles and data collection methods Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
Core Responsibilities
Deliver individualized behavioral interventions and supports directly to a high school student with Down syndrome Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior throughout the school day Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational staff to optimize care and inclusion Adjust strategies as needed in response to student needs and team feedback Encourage social interaction, academic engagement, and the development of daily living skills
