Application Solutions Architect (Hybrid)

Join a leading financial services team as an Application Solutions Architect, supporting critical domains like Corporate Channels, Payments, Accounting Services, and Commercial Card operations. Drive high-impact technology solution architecture, aligning with business objectives and strategic direction. Shape the future of commercial banking technology by delivering secure, scalable, and innovative payment solutions in a collaborative, hybrid work environment. Responsibilities - Define and communicate an architectural vision that supports business strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and platform standards. - Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions for commercial banking payment systems, ensuring compliance and risk management. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify solution intent, operating environments, primary systems, interface definitions, and non-functional requirements. - Develop and refine high-level and modular architecture designs, adapting to evolving business requirements. - Oversee and review architecture-related deliverables, applying best practices, templates, and ensuring all non-functional requirements are addressed. - Partner with Product Managers to prioritize technology initiatives and guide teams on architectural aspects. - Provide solution options, clarity, and technical leadership to development teams. - Conduct design reviews to validate solution compliance, performance, and security standards. Required Skills and Experience - 10+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services technology with deep domain expertise in commercial banking, payments, commercial card, and accounting services. - Hands-on experience with multiple payment systems (e.g., US Fed Wire, NACHA, ACH, CHIPS, SEPA, SWIFT, cross-border/international payments, instant payments, FX, ISO20022, RTGS, B2C/B2B payments). - Familiarity with industry-leading payment platforms (ACI Universal Online Banker/Payments/MTS, Finastra Global Pay Plus, Fiserv Dovetail, FIS/Clear2Pay, Infosys Finacle Payment). - Expertise in API design, microservices, and integration platforms. - Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Advanced knowledge of application architecture in Java, .NET (C#), Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural documentation skills. Preferred Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - TOGAF 9 Certification. - Cloud Solutions Architect Certification (AWS, Azure, GCP).
