Job Description

As a Heritage Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures in Gujrat Pakistan. You will work closely with a team of architects, engineers and historians to develop preservation plans and strategies for various sites. Your main duties will include conducting site assessments, documenting and analyzing historical structures, developing restoration plans, overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes. In order to excel in this role you should have a strong background in architecture with a focus on heritage preservation, and you should also possess excellent project management skills and be able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including clients, government officials and contractors.

Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments of historical buildings and structures
Document and analyze historical structures to determine their architectural significance
Develop preservation plans that comply with local regulations and building codes
Collaborate with architects, engineers, historians and other professionals to implement restoration projects
Oversee construction projects to ensure quality control and adherence to timelines
Maintain accurate records of all restoration work done on each site
Conduct research on historical building materials and techniques used in construction
Provide guidance to clients on the best practices for preserving their properties

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience as an architect with a focus on heritage preservation
Experience working on restoration projects for historical buildings
Strong knowledge of local regulations and building codes
Excellent project management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this position.

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However we are open to discussing relocation assistance for the right candidate.
