Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Special Requests:
Housing options include newly remodeled, fully furnished studio apartments located 1/2 block from the hospital for $1790/month and small one-bedroom apartments for $1980/month. Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry are included. No pets are allowed. No deposit is required; housing is subject to availability and currently has a waitlist.
Unit Details:
The assignment includes an observation unit. The unit's census is growing due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illnesses.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night shifts include weekend rotation.
The clinician must participate in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following Valley View's pay schedule) in place of that week's standard hours when requested due to staffing needs.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
